Kate and Gerry McCann claim that there is absolutely no evidence that Madeleine has died and therefore she is alive and they will continue the search for her.
What they don't acknowledge is the forensic reports that , in the first reports, show that the DNA retrieved from the blood behind the sofa (found by both dogs) was a 15:19 markers match to Madeleine's DNA. The four remaining markers were degraded and therefore, could not be used.
15:19 markers DID match Madeleine's DNA.
The McCanns v Goncalo Amaral trial begins on Feb 8th 2012.
The McCanns claim that Goncalo's book 'A Verdade da Mentira' (with info used from the Official Police Files released in July 2008) is detrimental to the search for Madeleine.
They are suing him for 1.2 million pounds
