A beautiful collaboration between two masters. This Maqam would be the Avazeh Afshari in Persian music. Peace be with everyone, music and the arts transcend all ethnic, religious, national, and any other type of boundaries. Music is the universal language that unites all peoples.

Up until the rise of Zionism and Arab Nationalism. There were 876,000 Jews in the Arab World in 1947; there are only 7,000 today.
JohnJE123 Says:
Jews lived in the Fertile Crescent and Nile Valley for many, many centuries before these lands (i.e., Israel/Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq & Egypt) were conquered by the Muslims and became Arabic-speaking areas. Before that, these areas were predominantly Christian and Syriac- or Coptic-speaking. I don't believe most Jews in the Arab World ever came to identify themselves as "Arab," though I know many began to do so once they landed in Ashkenazi-dominated Israel (1949-1951).

I appreciate Your comment, my friend. It is better to discuss these issues in a calm and rational manner and not let ourselves be ruled by fear and prejudice. Jewish people in Iraq and other Arab countries were an integral part of society and have made great contributions in the fields of art, science and culture. Jews and Muslims have lived together in peace for hundreds of years. This can happen again, but not before the open Palestinian wound is cured. Peace is a choice. I hope You make it.

well u probably are but wht im sayin is that, if a nation constantly kills and does wrong by another nation, even if its only the government or a minority, atleast their people can MAKE A BIG STAND and REALLY SHOW THE WORLD their REFUSAL of THEIR NATION's ACTIONS! How often do you see Jews in Israel protest FOR Palestinanz? and how serious are those PROTESTS, or are they jus "hey lets jus act sympathetic for 1 hour and hold a sign or two then go back home n live off of the goods of our win
Yaron Oliker Says:
I can assure you that neither I nor anyone of my family has ever supported killing of anyone. As for myself I can say I love arabic music, and have a lot of respect for the arabic culture. I wish one day we will meet down the road, so you can see I'm not that evil.
ElKimoBasha Says:
